I usually do not give people too much grief on it, especially those that post by cell phone as "auto-correct" on most phones will not take the "Mobil" spelling first time and tries to correct to "Mobile.

One of my biggest pet peeves is when people call oil "weight" instead of grade because they think that is what the "w" stands for. The "w" stands for "winter" in reference to the oils viscosity grade at colder temperatures.

Yeah, I agree it is ignorant if people think the "W" means weight but the term "weight" for the various grades is used so much, it is repeated even by manufactures and other industries to the point of being interchangeable with "grade" for most laypersons.
