I'm wondering if I should have left well enough alone and kept my stockers. I got a spare set of the Cardone HD, but if I have problems with the trakmotive, I may end up trying oem out. Super hesitant on the Cardone with the grinding away on the coilovers. Is there maybe an install issue I may have overlooked?
Can you lay them out next to each other, maybe you will see the difference in the stock vs. the Cardone vs. the trakmotive?

I can already see the difference that the shaft for the trackmotive tapers down providing more clearance.

So I got everything buttoned up with the new trakmotive cv axels. Still getting a little pop in the front under the same conditions but it's not nearly as loud, which does lead me to believe it was the cv axels.

Craziest part is my cv axel angles look a bit better now.

The trackmotive on the passenger side sure didn't last long. Haven't done any offroading or anything crazy. Heard a loud pop in the front passenger side backing into the driveway last night and this is the result....

To be fair, the Cardone HD only lasted about 5 months with parking lot turns.

I'm going to see if they'll replace it under warranty, but their warranty info looks sketchy. I'll have a shop swap it out. Don't have time to mess with it, especially with it getting cold. Have to replace my rear window after it was bashed in Wednesday night downtown.

If they'll replace it, I'll give it another try, if not, maybe I'll try the Cardone HD again. Still have a new set of those from the warranty but my gut says to go with oem.

If the oem don't last, then the fox 2.5 coilovers will be coming out and going on sale here. Had 115k miles or so on the oem ones and they were still good. Only started having issues after the fox install. I'm really hoping it can get resolved, it would eat me up having to go back to the rake.

Ever since I put on limiting straps my CV axle problems are gone.

Once you mess with suspensions, you need to upgrade everything else.
But since you dont off-road your OEMs should last forever as its the high angles of off-roading that pops them. So im stumped why its happening to you.

They dont warrenty, You have to go thru the original place of purchase.

My fix to off-roading and busting CV axles was buying a Jeep JK. ;)

On second thought, I need to just sell the Cardone HDs. I just remembered that the thicker shaft was rubbing into the fox mount lower tower that connects to the LCA

Yeah, but you did quite a bit more custom fabrication than I can do lol.

I take it no issues? Looks like oem CV's as well? What struts are you running? I never had any issues with the oem struts and bds spacers.
No issues. And this is oem axels. These are the M1 6” loaded RC shocks/struts. They ride a bit stiffer than stock.
