Puddle lights

Guys,

In my 2014 ram 1500 sport, i noticed the puddle light is not working. The old one is burnt out and i ordered new ones and connected, but its still not working.

Tried to go into radio settings and light settings and adjusted the illumination at approach, still not working. I dont see a dome light switch, but the knob below the light rotating button is moved all the way to the right and still puddle light is not turniing on.

Also i noticed so much rust in the terminal which comes with the side mirror.

Any idea how to make these 2 puddle lights to work? Any fuse involved which i may want to replace?

Is your igination in the run position? My 14 RT will not do anything unless im in the run position, also try your turn signals to see if they flash. It's been a few years since I replaced one but I remember rust was normal.

Having rust & corrosion inside of those mirrors is quite common
Those wires & connections are always exposed to the weather
