Question for Sport Owners

I would like to know if the new Sport models come with the power locking tailgate latch, like the Rebel has. Thank you

My 16 Sports has a power locking tailgate. Unlocks when you use the remote to unlock the doors.

Yes, my 2016 sport has power locking tailgate also.

Thanks for all of the quick replies. This is great. I see it listed on my Rebels the window sticker, but when I downloaded the window sticker on the Night I am having built, it does not list it. So I thought I would ask.

I unplugged mine I hated it locking the gate everytime I locked the cab. I can still lock it with my key if I feel it needs to be locked.
This should be a separate button on the fob IMO like the trunk lock for a car.

Fairly certain its standard on all Rams. My 16 2500 Tradesman has it as well as my wife's 17 1500 Express. I don't recall it being on either window sticker.

Yes Sir I am. I have been driving as Dodge Sport since 2007 when I got tired of Durango's, and thought I would try something different last fall since the truck was 9 years old.
I have had nothing but issues with the Rebel since I purchased it, so I decide it is time to return it to the dealer and go back into a sport. Plus the sport rides a lot smoother.

My 17 Sport also has the auto locking tailgate. My 2010 Sport did not. Think I prefer what the 2010 had.
