Question for those of you with MDS delete/Cam Lockout

Camshaft was changed and MDS deleted by the person I bought the truck from. They also had it tuned and dyno'd at a shop local to them. I'm constantly getting a check engine light for camshaft position sensor response. Looked up the fix and it involves the VVT solenoid. So I assume it's complaining cause those solenoids don't exist anymore?

Do you just live with the check engine light on all the time or is there a way to disable that sensor warning?

Edit: I did have a list of parts installed and looks like a VVT cam phaser lock kit was also installed. In that case is that solenoid still used?
