So I'm going to finally get rid of the ****** RA1 head unit that came with my 2014 1500 Express. The new HU will have a lot of additional functionality with an Idatalink adapter, but if i wanted to use it for climate control, what additional parts would I need? I have the manual HVAC with 7 speed blower.

Thanks in advance.

I'm a Kenwood person myself and went with their DMX957XR head unit as I'm not a fan of the huge floating screens, but to each their own.

Great product with excellent tuning and set up capabilities.

If you go to Crutchfield they'll set you up with all the additional gadgets you need for seamless integration.. i.e. iDatalink Maestro.

Yep. I use Crutchfield. I'm just assuming I need some additional components to integrate the climate control stuff into the receiver, coming from manual controls right now. Looking for some insight into that.
