Sorry! I'm new here. Didn't realize I posted this in the 5th Gen section...
I have a 2014 RAM 1500 with the 5" RA2 radio. A few days ago, when I started my truck up, the radio booted up, but there was no sound. Then, I noticed the buttons on the bezel were re-mapped:
Things that changed:
- "Radio" button opens the Phone screen.
- "Phone" button opens a navigation screen that I've never seen before.
- "Compass" button opens the radio screen.
- "Options" button does nothing.
- "More" button opens the options screen.
- Turning the volume knob does nothing.
- "Browse" button does nothing.
- "VR" button on steering wheel does nothing.
- The "currently selected station" also changed from an orangish color to a red color.
Things that still work:
- "Media" button opens media screen.
- "Mute" button mutes.
- Turning browse knob works.
- "Phone" button on steering wheel opens phone screen.
I've tried the recommended soft restart, but since the "Browse" button is no longer browse, nothing happens! I've also pulled the battery for a few hours, nothing different. And I've pulled the full unit out. Nothing happens.
Any ideas???
