Happy thanksgiving to any and all, switching out factory stereo with aftermarket, how do I tell If I have an amplifier in my truck .?? also what is the small Connector with 3 wires running to it.

Since yours is an 08 if it has an amplifier it will have Infinity badges on the door panels. No badges, no amplifier.

Without seeing the 3 pin plug it’s hard to say, but it could possibly be for steering wheel controls if you have them.

Thanks for the info, I don't have steering controls, it is a 10 pin plug with only 3 wires in use, was plugged into radio, a green ,green w/orange, green/w yellow stripe, ref radio code on radio if that means anything, I think it has satelite capable.

I have a 07 ram 2500 and also have the small 3 wire plug. Where can I find a good factory radio schematic?
