Do i love my 2014 ram 1500
You decided With 50,000 miles on this vehicle i have had $4000.00 in repair cost
1st complete brake job at 25,000 miles. Found brake pads on drive way
2nd tail gate wouldn't stay shut 3 trips to dealer finally fixed at cost to me
2014 not on recall list till after. Dealer more trouble then it's worth for rebate.
3rd key wouldn't come out of ignition two control valves bad one covered under warranty one not figure that.
4th broken manifold bolt $629.00 to fix. then they told pinion seal leaking $1100.00 estimate to fix
I am going to fix it myself total cost of $97.69 tax included and one hour labor.
So do i love my truck you guess!!!!!!
PS i traded in a Chevy COLORADO WITH 97,000 MILES ONLY EVER NEEDED NORMAL MAINTENANCE

man that blows. my 2012 had basically zero issues.

I the water pump went bad at like 165,000 miles, and the TIPM fuel pump relay failed shortly after.

Aside from that, tires, fluids and brakes was all she ever asked for.

hoping my 2020 PW will be just as easy lol.

How did you have to do brakes at 25k?? This is my third 1500. The earliest i ever did front brakes was 55k and they weren't even that bad. My last Ram (2011) i did Front brakes at 64k (still had some life left) and the rear pads at 102k.
