RAM 2019 5 inch uconnect to 12 inch display OEM its possible to do?

I got my actual factory 5" display and just bought a 12" display, every place that I go they said cant be done because need a system Update and everthing that someone has been done before??

Hey man im in the same situation, i have the 5” and about to purchase the 12” from my local dismantler. Any updates on the installation ?

are the wiring harnesses the same? was there a nav system in your OEM screen? if it wires up ok you might have to get a dealer to flash it in.

Any luck with this? I’m in the same boat. I messaged with this guy on eBay and this is what he said:

“It includes all required equipment, wiring, and security code for the module. The trucks BCM will require programming changes for it to recognize the equipment change, and digital vs. manual temperature control. The ram dealer or really any auto repair shop with bidirectional scan tool can do this too.”

Unfortunately someone beat me on the auction since he replied after it ended. But let me know if you have any other info
