that is the amazing part of the delete pipe kit. Its very tame during cruising. Cold start and WOT is beastly loud but during cruise its not loud in the cab at all

I can’t say enough good things about the Solo Exhaust system

I would second this I left stock resonator on not bad running around in town or cruising but put your foot in it and it growls like the 6.4 should.

Initially I bought the Cat back Magnaflow 19200. Drone was too much for my ear and i always shift into manual so no MDS. Finally put the Solo Mach 82 in and it changed to tone and pretty much eliminated the drone.

it's funny because Solo Performance is not as well a known company as a lot of the big names we all know but they put out a killer product. I think some people dont know the name so think they arent good. Their mufflers and kits are high quality, high flowing, and mostly drone free.

I know it's hard to say, but is it as quiet as the 22" Magnaflow #12909 with the OEM resonator left in place? If the 6.4 exhaust just had the little rumble like the 1500s do I'd be happy, but this factory setup sounds like a hair dryer. I just don't want to hook onto a 10+K pound toy hauler and dread every minute of it.

How much louder than stock is the magnaflow 12909 leaving the stock resonator in place?

No idea, I was asking Nick about it in that post. I keep hoping to run into someone running it, so I can hear it in person, but no luck so far.

I went with the Solo Mach 82. Very nice sound and no Drone

How much louder than stock is the Mach 82? I was looking at it and the Mach 350, wondering which would give slightly more sound than hairdryer stock, would like something like the stock 5.7 1500 dual exhaust. Wondering which one of these would make that happen.

Not sure of the comparison between the two.I have the 82 installed along with a magnaflow Cat Back system. It does have a resonator. Magnaflow 19200 is the syst. part no. Louder than stock.

I'm pretty much in the same situation with the 19200 and would like something a bit quieter. How much of the drone did you eliminate with the Mach 82? Was it a direct swap of did you have to reconfigure the Magnaflow setup for it to work? Thanks.

To me the tone is much smoother and deeper. It did cut the drone considerably. I purchased a 3 1/2 " piece of 304 SS piping 1' long from Summit Racing . Also a couple of Seal type Clamps. One for the inlet and one for the outlet. The thin wall SS seal clamps work well. Very easy install.

Thanks, appreciate the feedback! Will probably give it a try as well. Wish they made some of their other series in 3 1/2 but at least they have something. I've used those thin wall SS clamps before and they are awesome.

You will need 2 clamps. Inlet and outlet. 3.5 Lap. Found them on Ebay from Muffler House. You can call Solo direct. I spoke with Jeff Boychuk. Quality Muffler 304 SS Tig Welded. No Rust!

2014 2500 6.4L crew cab. Did a Magnaflow single in/single out muffler, had a resonator delete done at the same time by the exhaust shop.

Part throttle & WOT video from inside the cab:

What muffler did you go with? Part number?
Anyway you could repost the sound clip, it’s currently unavailable.
