I just took mine off so I say remove them...

I replaced mine with Mopar stirrups. I think the nerf bars make the truck look lower to the ground than it is.uploadfromtaptalk1437093223993.jpg

What if I just completely removed them and there was nothing? Would that be better than leaving them on?

That's what I would have rather done but I have kids and a wife that need the step to get in. So I tried them as an alternative. I just took the nerf bars off, the stirrups are in the boxes on the back seat still... I will see how they look today/tomorrow and post a pic.

Couple pics of my truck. It's pretty much how yours would look without them. I personally like not having them, but I'm planning on a set of black ones that run up close to the body (similar to Iron Cross and the others).

Depends, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Just take one off already and look at it, if you don't like put it back and keep or at least until your new one comes in if u go that route. Everybody will have an opinion but its your truck, it should be what u want not by a consensus in the forums. Gluck deciding :)

I have 10" of lift and don't have side steps. I say, if you can get in the truck without them, then remove them. Only keep them if you need them, say for kids or so.

I like the clean no-step side look. If I Have to put some on it'll be a set of amp's.

I also prefer the look of them removed. They also reduce clearance over curbs etc. The benefit is they can prevent door dings. I have a short wife so once i lift my truck i am going to have to get some, but I'm gonna get the amp ones .

It depends on the step. Some complement the truck, and others look like a universal aftermarket bolt on.
