Retractable running boards

This is what they look like at 9 or so years. Don't mind the mess, I did clean them the other day but they're filthy again.

Yep .... they were supposed to have them back in stock in May but now they are not sure when they will have them .... I honestly think they are not going to continue to sell them for the Rams anymore lol .... us that got them now are the lucky ones ....

Just got the AMPs installed because my Dad liked them after several years. I do miss the chrome runningboard look (I have a Big Horn edition)

Two related questions:

1. Anyone know a good trim kit to cover up the screws along the outter bottom edge where the stock running boards used to screw in? Barring that, know the screw size and TPI for those holes?

I have used AMP power steps on my last 3 trucks. I can't say any thing negative about them and cant say enough positive. That said, my wife who's (5'5") once I did put on my first set, made it a mandatory feature since I lift them.

The only thing I think is strange about them was the need to adjust them during installation by "jumping up and down on them”

Definitely one of the weirder bits of helpful information.
