Well I just got my truck a month a go and started changing already.

Start 2013 Dodge Ram 1500 QC Outdoorsman 4x4

Before lift

Only mods right now are

UWS Black diamond plate tool box
front and rear Mud flaps
front and rear window air vents
Front Shield Hood protector
Mopar alum side steps (will change out)

First major mod is 6: RCX Lift with 1/4 wheel spacers for front 17" stock rims and wheels

I have a VARARAM Air Grabber in the back seat. thinking about getting TB and catch can first and adding the mods this weekend.

next up is the wheel well filled in. thinking Nitto graplers 36.5"x12.5x17 but shoo might get some used tires to hold me over. hard pill to swallow with only 1700 miles on truck.

When I bought my wheels and tires I wanted to sell mine quick so I listed them for $500 and sold them in 2 days. They Paid for the wheels. Mine had about the same miles on them.

This is exactly what I did.
Well I sold mine after I grabbed wheels.
Def a nice lift but more meat to fill that void

Well installed the Vararam Air intake today. Pretty easy but otta call them to ask a question about fit. Will take out on the road tomorrow.


Before with just a stock intake

After with a vararam installed

next up TB, Catch Can, and Exhaust

Any body know how I can switch this to a build post vs just being in the lifted section.

oh also well im in a deep red clay area as you can see.

Anybody got any good tips on cleaning the rubber parts and such. A standard engin clean does not help. its like its stained and it was cleaned with in an hours of having fun.

I always used penetrating lube on my bikes and quads to get the mud stains off the plastic. Just sprayed WD and let it work.

wd40 hmm will try wd never hurt someone and intake is nice. Havent really driven enough to notice any mpg but the throttle response. nice really nice

I'm glad to hear someone else who got the vararam and is happy with it. Just makes me more sure that it's gonna be included on my mods.

That lift looks great too. Thanks for posting those pictures on the other thread that I was using to ask for help, I hadn't seen them on here!
