Lak8, so are you saying the 18.45.01 update worked on your Canadian radio? or do you own a US truck?

Yup, The update worked without a problem. I and my truck are both from Canada.
One thing to note is i don't have navigation

Hi All,

I have an update issue with my VP4 NA Uconnect 8,.4. I downloaded the latest 18.45.0.1 version from the official Uconnect update. The update always stops at the Unit 14 HD sequence. After that, it says install error on the screen. I've tried to install the 17.43.01, but after the first step, it just restarts and keep saying me please insert update usb.

I've been struggling with this issue for a week now, really frustrating that Uconnect doesn't have the solution for rollback.

Does anyone faced this problem and have a solution?

NA is North America.

ROW is Rest of World... Ie overseas/Europe, etc. The files I do have are strictly for USA radios.

18.45.01 will work on any year, just need to make sure you get the right variant (RA3/VP3 or RA4/VP4)

If you had a 13-15 RAx radio and were previously on SW v17.11.x then you probably lost the ability to have both display on the radio... Just like updating to v 17.43.x. you will likely need an aftermarket camera module to support more than one input.

To get the inputs correct for the backup camera, you will likely need to carefully swap radio pins 24,25,26 (cargo cam) with 31,32,33 (backup cam).

Looks like it's officially going to be only 16+ radios that support both inputs on the radio after FCA's update.

I did the same thing today ( BIG SHOUT OUT TO MPGRIMM2 FOR HIS KNOWLEGE AND HELP ! )[emoji106] only my 2015 RA4NA had old software 14. Something so I installed the 17.43.01 sw then after a short drive and a couple power cycles I then installed the 18.45.01 sw .

Any of you guys no what the latest Nav Update is 2018 , 2019 ?

They no longer list the year/qtr on the map file in the radio info section.... it's now listed as v8, v9, etc. I've seen screenshots of v10 and it's possibly up to v11 or v12. @Ricks Ram is a consistent map file updater and may know what's the latest version.

Need everyone to keep an eye out for an official v18.11.x or v18.43.x download file if it becomes available for each Ra4 VP4-NA year from 13-17 (& Ra3 Vp3-NA).

[C]** For those that get the OTA update, please last is know your truck/radio year, model, & final SW version from the settings menu or dealer menu **
(ie 17 Ra4 VP4-NA v18.45.01 or 15 RA3 Vp3-NA v18.11.07, etc) [/C]

There are a lot of folks out there with 8.4 upgrades and factory radios out of warranty this will affect on Nov 3.

I just activated the navigation on my truck and did a map update to the latest and it says v12. It's supposed to be a 2019 map update.

If I had to guess, I would say no. You take the chance of bricking your radio if you put the wrong software on it.

You went to the Unconnect site and there wasn't an update for you?
