would that work? I just ordered the RC lift and Bilstein adjustables. Would that shock be too short seeing it’s going into a lifted spring?

which rough country 6” kit did you order? Their base kit reuses the stock struts and adds a spacer above the strut to get lift. If you ordered that kit you would be fine using the bilstein 5100 up front. The rear bilstein would be to short of a shock

This is what I ordered (and I didn’t get the spacer). I thought that I could use the lifted spring and replace both front and back struts with the Bilstein. But then I realized that the spring would be too long.

Well. You answered your own question. The bilstein are stock length hood for a 2.5” level. They will not work as a 6” lift strut since they are still stock length. The rear bilstein would be too short as well.

Hey friend, going through something simular now, except I have a bds lift. I am having issues finding shocks, so I sent an inquiry to billsteincanada dot something.

They got me to measure shock length currently on my Rancho 5000x shocks which was 26.25" & 26".

I do have my tools and plywood slider box in the box.

Photo attached is what they recommended I go with for shocks.

Good luck.

Thanks. Yes they told me that unfortunately they wouldn’t work but he offered a set of Fox coilovers ($1800).
