I just bought a used 2012 Dodge Ram and I want to take the OEM running boards off. When I got underneath it looks like he made his own holes and welded them on :/ what would be the easiest way to get them off? I don't want to sawzall and ruin the brackets. That will be my last resort. Any input appreciated. Thanks!!

Well, I'm Stevie Wondering it..........but if they are welded, cutting is the only way.

I got the suggestion of grinding off the welding. Bit awkward lying on a inclined driveway, but it worked! It was a poor job of welding it seems, thankfully. I was able to save the Running boards. :)
