I just bought a used 2012 Dodge Ram and I want to take the OEM running boards off. When I got underneath it looks like he made his own holes and welded them on :/ what would be the easiest way to get them off? I don't want to sawzall and ruin the brackets. That will be my last resort. Any input appreciated. Thanks!!

I got the suggestion of grinding off the welding. Bit awkward lying on a inclined driveway, but it worked! It was a poor job of welding it seems, thankfully. I was able to save the Running boards.
