Hello fellow rammers,
Do i need to buy a tuner to reprogram the electric fan for the 180 tstat or is there another trick i could do? Will be getting a tuner before years end but was wondering if i should wait on the tstat or get it now. Replacing the radiator and hoses this weekend so i thought while i had her torn apart....

Thanks and keep ramming

Which electric fan setup did you go with? On the 3rd gens, you don't need to do anything as far as programming goes when running a fan and cooler temp tstat. The Flexalite electric fan kits will come with their own adjustable tenmp controller that allow you to set he fan to kick on at any temp between 160* and 240*. Just set the fan to kick on about 5-10* higher than your tstat is rated.

Could get a Hydens controller also and splice into the wiring.

What is benefit of running cooler? I have been trying to understand what the point is of getting a new Tstat and if you can just get a tstat and keep the stock fan in?
Confused on this whole section and was looking for guidance.
Thank you
