Does anyone have any experience or opinions about the lower priced soft trifold tonneau covers ? Like Tonneau Pro or American Tonneau ? I would like to have an Extang Trifecta, but sure like the prices of the others !!

No experience with the cheaper ones. I had the extang trifecta on my 03. It was great. Light weight easy on easy off. But a wind storm blew some debris through it. About a foot long rip in it. I just swapped my 03 for a 16, and went with the extang solid fold. It's heavier but much nicer.

I'd go hard cover if I were to buy another. Just for added security, better fit, and looks.

I've got the Gator cover on my truck. Works pretty well, it has some gaps through where dust gets in. Other than that I'm happy with it.

I have the Tonneau Pro and love it. Easy to fold up and if I need the entire bead. Can take it off in 5 minutes.

If I get 5-6 years out of it. I will be fine. Only spend $200.

I like hard covers, don't get me wrong. They are nice but you have to put a gun to head for me to $1000 for one.

I have the cheapest tri-fold I could buy. We had over 24hrs of rain last week. Didn't leak a drop.

**** the last two weekends it had rained for over 48 hours. No leaks either..

I'm pretty far from Mexico but we got a bit of storm from the hurricane. Crazy how far the weather can travel.

XTang anyone? I had one of their low profile, velcro sealing ones on my '06 Silverado and I was pretty happy with it.

I just got a Ram and will be in the market for a soft, rolling, snapless tonneau.

I have the Tonneau Pro and it gets the job done. It doesn't fit perfect but for ~$200 you can't go wrong.
I love that you can take it completely off in about 1 min and put it back on in 2 mins!

My dad has a soft roll cover. Likes it but complains about how it baffles at high speed. Not a huge complaint but is one.

I have the Extang Solid Fold 2.0. Works well, no leaks, can take it off in 5 min if needed. I think you can pick up the original Solid Fold for around $500 last time I checked.
