Sport bumper gone.... new bumper installed!

Looks like the overall shape of the bumper is the same, it's just the line that goes across that separates them making it a two piece bumper .. am I seeing it right?

I notice now the sport bumper also has a different shape at the bottom where it looks like it has a built-in chin spoiler.. thus.. sporty...

Finally did what I wanted to do for a while. Which is get rid of the plastic sport bumper and install the 2 piece bumper that is color matched. Couldn’t be any more happy. Personally I think it looks so much better with the lines and all. What do you all think?

Some 2018 and up Big Horn's have the color matched steel bumper with rubber piece between bumper and grill

when I read the post topic I thought "what the? why?"

then when I saw your truck I thought: "nailed it"

with the lift I think it looks better and cleaner than a sport bumper cover, without that little flared lip along the bottom. never did I think I would say that, being I love the sport front end. I'm also a fan of lowered trucks, which the sport bumper suits.

ever consider undercoating? i too am in pa. mine dont get driven in winter but i had my car done.

My tradesman came with the steel bumper. I prefer it since I off road the truck and the steel bumper will hold up much better than the plastic covered one. If you scratch the plastic bumper cover the repairs are much more involved. It is black and my truck is white. I have considered painting it to match but I think since I take the truck off road the satin black is easier to maintain. I took off the air dam to get a little more clearance. I also put in the Bilstein B8 6112's at 2.4" so I have a much better approach angle than stock.

Why does the first picture look like it is having the 4th Gen 2500 grill and bumper?
The grill looks different from the one I have on my Ram 1500.
