Stub Shaft Stuck

I have a 2014 Ram 1500 that I can't get the passenger side intermediate/stub shaft out. I have tried every method suggested on you tube but it is stuck. Does anyone know of a trick to remove this shaft without the removal tool? I would like to avoid paying $175 for a tool I will only use one time. Does anyone know of a source to buy this tool beside the one site on Ebay? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

So, if I get what you are saying, my truck doesn't have a stub shaft. I have to pull the transfer case apart to replace the entire shaft.

Rechecked my truck, it definitely has a stub shaft.
