I got the truck on June 28th, started reading all that you guys had to say and ended up putting in an order for a Diablosport T-1000 and custom engine/trans tuning by White Lightning via Andrew @ Bully's Performance on July 12th (friday).
Let me start off by saying that I had the tuner on July 16th (tuesday) and installation was a breeze. Andrew answered my emails promptly regarding all the questions I had about making the jump from SCT to Diabosport (Ford to Dodge).
Then he referred me to Dave (WL), he took over and was very pleasant to work with. Extremely patient as I made a couple of mistakes when sending him the files he had asked for, and after a day worth of emails back and forth regarding my preferences, he sent me 5 custom tunes to see how my truck responded. I ran it with all the tunes ranging from raised line psi/changes to the converter lock & unlock. I ended up going with the tune where he made changes to the converter lock/unlock and now the truck is a completely different machine. The throttle is very responsive and the trans downshifts with minimal effort and its very smooth. I also had him disable MDS as a personal preference just because I hate the drone.
Stock tune: I had to give it a lot of gas right off the line to get it going and it wouldn't downshift unless I ALMOST floored it, it would take about a second to get out of MDS and then downshift. I ran 0-100 km/h @ 7 seconds.
White Lightning tune: As mentioned above, the throttle is very sensitive and the truck feels like it's always ready to go. Also, I am getting slightly better gas mileage now which I'm guessing is due to not having to push the pedal halfway in to get the truck going. I ran 0-100 km/h @ 5.9 seconds..and its 34 degrees C outside which is what..mid 90's F. I saw a video on youtube of another Ram running 0-60 mph @ 5.5 seconds with the WL tune.
I love it!
I just wanted to take the time to thank Andrew @ BP and Dave @ WL for their great service, because we all know good service is hard to come by in the auto industry.
P.S - mods: Magnaflow dual exhaust and a K&N drop in filter. I haven't checked out the exhaust really yet as it was installed by the previous owner, but it sounds great.
