How long does Blackstone typically take for a reply to a gas engine oil analysis? Also curious on how many consumer samples they test per day.

Might just give them a ring or email tomorrow...

IIRC, took them about a week to ten days to get my analysis back. It's been awhile, but I know I had a login I could access to check to see if the analysis was done and uploaded.

First there is no one perfect oil. It is OK to mix oils to get the perfect oil.

I've researched the net to get the ****** Oil Analysis. Many people post Used Oil Analysis to see how well the oil maintains its additive package over time.

First read about base stock. I couldn't find reliable info on this on the oils I was looking at

Doesn’t get any better than $16/gallon and 150 mL of MSo2 in this analysis report, I’ll wait for anyone else’s concoction.

What mods and how does the engine SOUND?

I think even a "sewing machine" Hemi probably wears just fine, but the God awful sound of it would make me want to find an oil (or filter, or both) that might make it sound less like its going to fall apart.

Granted, if you mod it with long tube headers, you probably cant hear the engine run anymore anyway

What value is the Total Base Number. These are all modern synthetics.

Also, my info is ****** samples. Blackstone's value is how well the oil prevents wear and how well the additive package remains over time.
