Update! Took it in this morning, tires and rims are true, the idiots never removed the old weights.. on any of the tires.... so, as of this post, things are smooth

Imagine that. $5,000 worth of headaches to save $40.You went with Amazon for $20 less?
Normally that's what I would have done, but since my accident money has been really really tight so I need to try and save as much as possible until the settlement so I can pay off all the debt incurred from that.. . the shop I took it to only charged me $68 to fix the issue.. called the cc company and disputed the charges from the other place ($120). I will continue to use the place by work, they took care of a problem that wasn't theirs, took pictures of the issue, and understood my frustration.I am lucky to have a good tire store near home. Tire Choice. I have no idea if other locations operate as well, but these guys are great. I buy there when it’s reasonable, but I’ve taken in tires I bought online and they do the same quality work. They’ve even patched tires -without charge- that were under warranty from another shop with lousy service (looking at you, Tire Kingdom).
It is rare in my experience to find a shop this good in any line of work.
Usually what I do buying tires is get an online quote and then show it to someone local and ask them what they can do. If it’s close I’ll gladly pay a little extra to support local business.
I remember when No-Fault accident insurance came into NJ in the 70's. IT was a cluster then, bet has not changed.Normally that's what I would have done, but since my accident money has been really really tight so I need to try and save as much as possible until the settlement so I can pay off all the debt incurred from that.. . the shop I took it to only charged me $68 to fix the issue.. called the cc company and disputed the charges from the other place ($120). Tires are fine, no issues. It was the stupid shop.BOIRD went a different route. The STOCK SRA balloons had to go. So Dealer had buy 3, 1 free, well $1.00 actually. SO out the door, $836 for tires, and I have Falken Wildpeaks AT3W's snow rated, "C" ply tires, which is exactly what I wanted, stock size, stock rim. I also get free rotations from Dealer. OP, I get your trying to save $$$, but be careful cheaping out on tires, brakes, those things that U literally just trust your life and families to, just saying.
ADDED: Neva cheap out on a garage, U get what U pay for, just saying. ALL here IMHO (very humble).

Are U trying to say U are gonna avoid that particular shop in the future?Tires are fine, no issues. It was the stupid shop.
Oh it was his fault. Lol reports show it, all documentation show it. Its just a pita all around.I remember when No-Fault accident insurance came into NJ in the 70's. IT was a cluster then, bet has not changed.
Like the plague. LolAre U trying to say U are gonna avoid that particular shop in the future?
I pump my own most of the time. This state is so effed...I remember when friggin No Fault came in. Family had Nationwide Insurance forever. When No-Fault hit, Nationwide said Adios, and still today, U got that friggin mess, just wat a royal PITA. File, your company pay, then go after other company, yada yada yada, geez. Kinda like Bridgegate by Ft Lee, same BS, hee hee. I read that stuff and thought: YUP, dat's NJ, roflmao.
ADDED: and the stupid Gas Station attendant rule, geez. When I was home in 2018: U know I stood there and watched that attendant: no body gonna get my card info or skim my card, LOL. Attendant got mad, too bad, so sad, hee hee.
I neva allowed one of the gas jockey's in NJ do ne thing I did not see visually. U wanna pump gas OK, but U not get free reign to my CC. Just amazes me NJ still got that stupid requirement. Oregon was trying to get rid of it, not sure if they have or not.I pump my own most of the time. This state is so effed...
AFAIK Oregon still has that. But then again, I plan my trips such that I don't have to fuel up in that state. The last time I fueled up there was 2001 I think. I sat and watched the attendant fuel up 3 cars that arrived after me, so I got out and started pumping my own gas. He threatened me with a $700 fine for doing that. I haven't fueled up in Oregon since then LOL.I neva allowed one of the gas jockey's in NJ do ne thing I did not see visually. U wanna pump gas OK, but U not get free reign to my CC. Somebody threaten me, hmmmmmmmmmm, not a good thing. But then guess that comes from all my years in Public Service, LMAO.AFAIK Oregon still has that.
