Tire Size Problem

I have a 2012 1500-Ram Sport, Crew Cab with 20" factory mags. I want to put Nitto Trail Grappler M/T on my factory 20" mags and NO wheel spacers; I also want to put a 2.5" level kit DayStar in the front only.

My question is that my local tire dealer says that 305/55/20 is not going to rub but it will be really close, what do you think about that? I really want the Nitto Trail Grappler tires with the DayStar level kit but I don't want to buy it and get screwed.

Let me know if you have already installed these or if you know how this will turn out.

Sorry I can't help with that question and i know you dont want spacers but you can go with a 1/4 and fit a 35" tire. And they aren't like the other spacers where you cut your studs either.

i have no rub and im running the same set up... dunno if the 13 has a lil different clearance but no spacers no rub lock to lock.

You have aftermarket wheels..... Different situation(do you know the specs on your wheels - width and offset?)

where? those are stock laramie wheels

yes they are my factory 20in wheels that come on the laramie

Oh wow.... Sorry bout that. They really look like aftermarket wheels.

I'm guessing they are 20x8 wheels then. The op should have 20x9 Wheels that would rub with 305's

My mags are 20x9, not the same mags as yours... What size tires should I go for with my mags - I only want Nitto Trail Grappler and it has to fit with the Daystar leveling kit with no spacers. Thanks,

295 60 is a bit taller and more narrow than what im running... 34.4 i believe tall mine are 33.4

i have about 1/4 in clearence to the uca and no rub lock to lock.... if you are close to memphis tn you can test fit mine
