Tire time

Hello.

Have '18 6.4 2500 4x4 4.10 Reg cab with 8 foot bed all stock. OEM Transforce LT275/70R18E have just under 50k miles on them and time to replace. Most miles highway driving pulling 7k travel trailer and getting unstuck from Michigan mud and snow in 4x4 mode.

Need the boards opinion of what tires you would buy. Thanks

I put some Nitto Ridge Grapplers on my 2500 and I really liked them.

For more road-going and towing uses Michelin makes a couple of good choices, if you want a snow-flake rated tire that is good in snow, dirt/gravel lite mud and towing some popular choices are:
BFG AT, Toyo AT3, Cooper AT3, Falkin AT, The previously mentioned Nittos, Kanati Trail Hog AT and Goodyear Dura Trac (both similar, ) I`m sure I left a couple off but you get the point!

It is a mess right now isn't it. I'm close to your area and we live off a private dirt drive it's a mess.

Got the new shoes on Fri. Toyo AT3 and it only cost to balance and mount.......drum roll......8 bucks! Well, the tires were suppose to be mounted earlier in the day and when I showed up, it was still in the garage waiting with a mask.

I just put Falken AT3Ws on my 2018 2500, ride smooth and balanced nicely. Order from Amazon, they are much cheaper, $298 for lt295/60/20, 18s are probably even less. They shipped from Simple Tire.

Michelin LTX's are awesome tires. Do some searching on this forum. Lots of happy customers who also recommend them.

I took off my original tires and wheels after about 15k miles and switched to BFG KO2’s. No regrets.

I currently have copper at3 xlt tires and really like them.
My last set of tires on my last truck were Toyo at2 extremes.
Both tires have been great and you wouldn’t go wrong either way.

I went with pathfinder ATs. They are made by Hankook, so it's the same design and build as Dynapros.

I considering new tires at the moment as well. Probably going to be Toyo AT3 or Falken Wildpeak AT3W. I've had great luck with Toyo's so probably go with them again.
