I have a 02 with the 45rfe,never had a problem with it in the 12 years I've had it.
One morning while going 45ish through town hit a set of tracks that I've hit a few hundred times before, the transmission down shifted to 3rd gear threw a p0700 code, which a mechanic at work read with scanner ,said it was a transmission pressure sensor, fluid was good. Changed that sensor, nothing changed.
So now I'm shift solenoid block and both speed sensor in,and it still barely takes off in drive, has no passing gear. Shut track off and it does fine for a few minutes then bam, goes to **** again.
I love this truck, but for the safety of anybody around my temper, this either needs to be figured out or gone from my sight.
any insight into this would be great
