Just spent 8500 on a new transmission for my 2014 3500 Cummins diesel 6.7L 120k miles. Drove out of the shop and check engine light on. Drove to AutoZone to get codes and it says P0870 OD hydraulic pressure test secondary all had to do with transmission. Have to wait until the morning to bring it back to the transmission shop, but wondering if anybody has had this problem or if knows why this could be happening? We’re supposed to be hauling a 17,000 pound fifth wheel tomorrow, and it’s making me a little nervous.

It's a pretty rare fault from what I read and it may just need to be cleared... But given that someone was just in your transmission the chances are high that they missed something or there is a wiring problem?

I assume this is a 68RFE? for $8500 sounds like they should have done a lot of upgrades to beef it up as well?

$8500 for a reman transmission? Hope the only part they reused was the case, and all the internals are billet, for that price.
