Hello, new to the forum. I inherited a 1988 ram d150 from my father and just starting to work on it. It's been neglected for a while.
One of the troubleshooting items is the low beam headlights. I have been using forum entries to troubleshoot but to no avail. Have put in a headlight switch and a dimmer switch which is mounted on the steering column. No go.
I have run into a black wire hanging down from under the dash, attached a photo. What the heck does this go to. Could be a ground causing some problems. Located just to the left of the brake pedal.
Open to suggestions and help!
