It held up great. Sold the truck so I can't talk for it now

Once it warms up I'm gonna start bedlineing my new truck

Used this product on the interior of my CJ7, floors and up the sides of the inside body. Held up great, 4 grown guys with hunting gear and off road gear/tools. Not a chip or scratch. Got the kit the gun, great price for the diy. When I bought my Ram, the dealer threw in spray-in liner. Otherwise I would have use U-Pol for the Ram too.

How bad is the over spray from the gun? I will have to do mine outside as my truck won't fit in my workshop...

The over spray is pretty bad...cover up anything in the surrounding area if you don't want bedliner on it. I wore sandels one day doing this, had bedliner on my feet for a week

I probably will. I plan on using the tintable to try and color match the truck... Starting with the bed first (and some flares if I have them by then). If that goes well then I want to do the rockers and the door sils but it sounds like I will have to roll them.

Does the gun clean easily or do you get a new one for every project?

that was one reason i stayed away from raptor... it comes already black and you tint it the color you want, wasnt to sure how it would look. so i went with scorpion liner cause you actually make it any color you want. the gun that came with my kit was kinda a pain in the a$$ to clean the first few times but gets easier as you do it more. here is how mine turned out:

ya i sprayed the whole truck. it is holding up well but is more of a rubberized finish then some bedliners. would like to get my hands on some raptor to just spray it so i could compare the two side by side

I cant imagine how much time it took to prep the entire truck!!! :insane:

I think I am going to try the tint-able Raptor.... The description says that its almost clear until you add the tint. Supposed to make color matching much easier...

When I sprayed my jeep, I went to a auto body paint store, got tape made for auto paint and masking paper. Used the tape on a body line for nice straight edge, and then taped paper to that to kept overspray from rest of jeep body. Once done spraying, pull paper and tape while wet. Very easy clean up. The tape and paper were cheap and the paper doesn't let paint or undercoating bleed through. Do not get the Home Depot or Lowes stuff.

Just for reference on the tintable one it is clear and you just add color and shake it. The one I did turned out awesome about like the black does!! I'm a big fan of this stuff for DIY and the price, the texture IMO is comparable to linex. I've sprayed probably 10 different ones over the last couple of years and haven't had an issue with any of them. Now need to break down and buy a kit to do my truck! Seem to do everyone else's but my own.
