Use factory backup camera in aftermarket Stereo

Hi all,

I am a little new to these post , but I was curious if anyone knows if it possible to use the factory backup camera on the 2013 Ram 1500 with an aftermarket Stereo. Very soon I am installing a Kenwood ddx371 and would like to move the backup camera display to the Kenwood instead of the rear view mirror. This is not crucial to my install but just thought it would be nice.

Yes you can but you have to cut the wires going to the factory connector and splice them into a RCA connector that will plug into your Kenwood HU.
