VisionX light cannon 4.5" review

Here is a video I made. The video shows the Spot beam pattern (standard) vs. the snap on beam filter cover in the "Euro" pattern. The parking lot wasn't pitch black. But, it gives you a good idea.

Here are some photos. Probably my last. I can't think of anything else to do for this product. I like long reviews. I am just paying it forward for those interested. This will most likely conclude this review.

Here is this hill I frequent when I go shooting. I park right here and use this great back stop.

Parked in the same spot. Angled the two light cannons up onto the center on that rocky hill peak.

As you can see, this is some pretty good distance. On the far-far-FAR right of the screen is where I parked (along the horizon) and the far left is that rocky hill side. Gotta be close to a 1000' shot.

Edit: I went back to my usual stomping grounds to shoot (shown above). That rocky hill peak is 330 yards away per my buddies laser range finder. So that is 990 feet of distance. I believe the advertised "1000 feet of usable light" is an absolutely realistic claim by VX.

VisionX light cannon 4.5" review

By the way, I got all four light cannons installed. Got it done awhile ago. So, this post in long over due. What do you guys think?

I bought two of these adapters so I only had to use the one wiring harness and switch. Worked out great and made for a nice clean install.

I just want to take the time to mention Quadratec.com "the Jeep experts." I found them on a google search and discovered the VisionX adapter on their website. I ordered two and got an email shortly after stating they are on back order. I figured alright, no problem, let me give them a call and see if they are getting a shipment any time soon or if I should cancel my order.

I spoke to someone on the phone who was friendly and advised he would place me on a brief hold. After less than a minute on hold, he came back on and stated he called VisionX and they are going to ship them directly to my house for me.

That's is awesome because any other company would have said something like "the item is on back order and we have no idea when it is coming in, we will ship it when we get it in stock." Quadratec took care of me and I including them in this review to show my appreciation.

I will post some photos using my new GoPro Session5 of all four light cannons in action next week!
