Okay.. I know that I can clear 35's on a 2012 ram 1500 with leveling kit and right size offset rims. I've read the previous threads on it. Let's say for now we want to keep the factory 20' rim, what size wheel spacer would be needed? I know older gens only needed a 1/4, are the new gens the same? Or?... I looked for about 3-4 hours and couldn't find any info on the wheel space size needed for new gens. Sorry if I happened to over look it, just need to know before I finalize my purchase. Thanks a lot!!

However why not go for a larger wheel adaptor? I have 1.5" BORA wheel adaptors from motosport Tech and they're great!

Here they are with my 35's

How bad of a rub would it be without them? I wanna put the tires on this weekend, but my work schedule is horrid and I'm waiting for them to ship. It would only be for a couple days til they come.

No idea if they'd rub at all, I've only ever used the 1.5's. Mine rub a bit a full lock

Alright! Thanks a lot! I'll lyk how bad of a rub they are. I'm looking to run 35x12.5r20 on the stock wheel.

I'm running the 1/4" spacer that I added on with my rough country lift and I can barely fit a finger between the sidewall and spindle. I've heard some people don't have issues with rubbing with no spacers but I'm certain mine would rub if I didn't have the spacer.

You can't run 35x12.5's on the stock rims without a spacer. It's not a matter of how bad it will rub, it's a matter of how quick it's going to tear open the inner sidewall of your tire on the upper A-arm. You need to have spacers in hand before mounting the tires on the rims.

10mm spacers will essentially make your wheels a 20x9 +9 offset. I wouldn't recommend going to a full 1.5" spacers with just a leveling kit as you'll run into rubbing issues. A 1.25" is the largest I'd recommend as they will essentially make your wheels a 20x9 -12 offset. You will still likely end up with a slight amount of rubbing on the back of the inner fender plastic with those.

Would using the Bilstein 5100's set at 2.1 enable an owner to mount 35's with a 10mm spacer? This would be my ideal set up as I want the strut upgrade in lieu of the level kit.

I have 35x12.50 on the stock 20s. Put a 1/4 spacer on and no rubbing.

I had a 2" before I put the lift on. You should be fine with 1/4 spacer and 2.5" level. I would listen to Brandon though and go with the 10mm hubcentric if you can

Just to clarify.. Some say 1/4" is okay, some say stock is okay, others say I'll need 1.5", what is the safe guaranteed bet?? I went to the website to the company for the 10mm hub centric spacers and smaller size was 19mm, not 10.. I'm putting the tires on today or tomorrow morning so I'm going to order spacers today. What is the safe bet spacer that will not have any rubbing. If it's needed, I have the express package, not sure if it makes much of a difference. Once again everyone, thanks a lot for all the effort & help yall have put in to help me out. Really do appreciate it.
