Since I ordered my lift kit and wheels + tires my friend with a Ram is super jealous lol and wants new wheels and tires and a minor lift kit.

He isn't on these forums so im asking for him. Info below.

2011 Ram 1500 Reg Cab 2wd Hemi
Fr: Stock
Rr: Stock

Neither of us know which level kit to order and even if we did, we have no idea what max size tires he would be able to run.

He wants 20x9 or 20x10 rims with a -10 to -20 offset. And he wants 33x12.50 or 35x12.50 tires.

What combo would fit either of the level kits pictured below?

If neither of those kits are any good, can anyone recommend a front level kit for a 2011 Reg Cab 2wd? Apparently they don't make Bilstein 5100's for the 2wd Rams... wtf?!?!

*** Since he will only be getting a level kit, does backspacing/offset matter because it will be stock knuckles? ***

Or would he be better off doing this instead??

Rough Country 2" Front Level Springs + Fox Racing 2.0 0"-2" Level Shocks

Or would this be better for him

MaxTrac 2.5" Lift Coils with front shocks

Which would be a better choice for 20x9 or 20x10 with 33x12.50 tires? He kind of doesn't want the "level spacers" as it makes for a rough ride.

I just installed the MaxTrac 2.5 coils and springs and did a 1” spacer in the rear. Didn’t need any special tools.

Raised but still has a little rake and will fit 33/12.5/20 just fine. In fact I will also run 20x10 -18. Currently on order.

I recommend MaxTrac. Rides great and better deal than the rough country. You can also get the kit with fox springs if you want. The rear spacer gave me just the right amount of rake I wanted. About 3/4”.

Correct... with this setup you can run stock or whatever wheels. Backspace is more of an issue when you run front spindles. Btw, that also pushes the wheels out another 1” or so. That’s the reason I stuck with 2.5 coils versus 4.5 spindles.

Good luck.

Ok so if he gets thst MaxTrac level kit he can run a set of 20x10 -18 wheels with a 33x12.50 tire? Just want to double check before I tell him and he starts ordering stuff because he's getting impatient lol and ready to order now.

In short, yes! Just let him know that his wheels will stick out a little with that offset, like 2 inches. It’s not a bad thing but it’s just something to be aware of

So when I first bought my truck I had these rims laying around from my 06 Ram and put them on my current ram for a month or 2.

My ram was stock suspension yet these wheels fit with no issues at all. Here's the specs:

•• Wheels ••
[emoji830]Brand: American Racing ATX Justice
[emoji830]Size: 20x9
[emoji830]Offset: -24

•• Tires ••
[emoji830]Brand: Cooper Zeon LTZ Xtra Large Series
[emoji830]Size: 275x60R20
[emoji830]Diameter: 33"x11.1"

So if my 2012 Reg Cab fit 33x11 tires, can a 2011 Reg Cab with the MaxTrac 2.5" Level kit fit 35x11 or 35x12.50 tires on it? These fit on my truck with no rubbing or any issues at all and it was stock height.

Also these were -18 offset. He wants his to stick out more so can he run upto a -28 offset with that MaxTrac kit and they still fit on his truck? Again his is a 2011 Reg Cab same as mine.

Here's some pics of what they looked like.
