third day of ownership went to back into parking space at Tm Hortons and crushed my rear bumper on one of those 3foot high cement columns. Too short to see in rearview mirror but strong as hell. Had to buy a new bumper with dual exhaust bends in it from the dealer I had just seen 3 days ago. I now have a rear-view camera... Hope that's it!!!

Not my fault , but this is my worst .

In November 2013 I traded in my 1997 extended cab Dodge 4x4 with near 300k because I hit a deer doing about 65mph.
It was more all to hell ( big deer)

When I traded it , it still had blood and hair on the wreakage , barely drivable .

Purchased my 14 Ram 2 days later , ...less than 1500 miles on thw OD in January 14 another damn deer hit ME and took out the entire right side of my new truck front fender , both doors and the entire r/s of the bed ...

This happened to my daughter driving back from a hunting trip. A deer ran into the right front corner of her 2017 Tacoma and took out the headlight, right front fender, both passenger side doors and the right rear fender. It cost the insurance company $5700 and her $50 deductible.

  1. 2008 ram 1500 man loved that truck 85000 not even broken in hemi great road truck. If i drove it 70 decient mileage. Got in wreck head on airbag deployment.not either one 9 months earlier dealer replaced module as specifically stated by recall for drivers side investigator said oh well no one at fault. Lets add that up 1 broken truck 1 broken neck 4 broken ribs got to be in hospital & rehab 2 times. Is there a way to check out airbags at dealer.. Oh sorry about the deer problem ouch.

Moving out of state. Bought truck in NE on 4/14/17 but didn't recieve truck til 6/14, cause it had to be shipped from NY. Moved to FL after our house burned down(neighbor started it) & my 4 yrs. of free oil changes stayed in NE. FL dealer will not except other NE dealers incentive, even though NE dealer said they put them on Nationwide list to be accepted. Numerous calls to NE & corporate come back with 0 results. Hope warranty is still nationwide.

Deleted the picture because i didnt want to see it anymore, i was dumping brush in my woods. Was backing out the 2 tracks and was scraping som brush on the driver side. So as i was hanging my head out the window watching the brush scratch my truck i backed into a tree and had to buy an new tailgate. Bumper is still crooked.

The cool part is i had the local rhino liner dealer spray the ENTIRE tailgate. I mean everything inside and out. I love it as i work off it and dont have to worry about scratching it now.

Buying it sight unseen, because it was brand new. Pretty sure it was built on bring your 40oz to work day because I don't think a single panel or piece of trim was straight. Took me forever to get things mostly straight.

It stands for Oil Catch Can. A worthwhile investment for any direct injected gas engine.

Hemi’s are not directed injected. They are port injected

I waited too long to get rid of the OEM muffler. The Ram deserved a free flowing exhaust right off the bat, but I couldn't swing the time or money until I got a Christmas bonus a few years later.

Ha ha ha ....very true ! Which makes the Oil Catch Can EVEN MORE SIGNIFICANT
The direct injections are gonna blow no matter what you do [emoji16] [emoji1303][emoji1303][emoji1303]

The regular 20 year old ****. Speeding, street racing, burnouts, donuts, highway battles. Almost put it in a ditch trying to drift. Had to jump a curb or two. Drove in the ditch on purpose twice now to beat traffic. Drove 2 miles in the center turn lane to beat traffic.

No tickets or damages yet, knock on wood. And I'm not nearly as bad as I sound, but ****. I'm not exactly being super cautious, either...

Didn't think out what the total cost of using it as my commuter would be. Now I need to buy a commuter car to save money!
I make less than money than before so I need a commuter car and a second job to be able to give the truck the attention it needs
