I'm struggling between 20x9 and 20x10 wheel sizes.
I really like the deeper lip on the 20x10's, but I keep seeing all these posts about the 20x10 being moe prone to rub, and I have no room to spare.
Why would the 20x10 rub more than the 20x9?
It's only the very outside edge of the tread that typically rubs, and the circumference and diameter of this portion of the tire would not change from a 1" wider rim.
The only thing that would widen is the width of the inside edge of the tire where the bead is, but that will never be the portion of the tire that rubs.
What am I missing?
