Sorry if this has been answered. Anyone with 10 or 12 wide wheels have any short or long term suspension problems running wider negative offset wheels. I know the ball joints can be a problem, but better UCA should fix this. Just wondering what to look forward to by going wider and negative. Also how much of a problem difference would there be in a 20x10 -24 vs 20x12 -44 with the same tires 33x12.5r20

I'm running 33x12.50 on 20s with -24 offset. I'm running a level. I replaced my UCA with mevotech because of the ball joint issues. The -24 offset will set out pretty wide. I suggest flares

20x12 -44 offset here without any issues. Only been about 500 miles though.

yup and kept it at 2.1 partly cause i like a lil rake and partly to avoid uca issuees

From what I've seen if you run bilsteins you won't have the issues. A lot of guys here with bils at 2.1 and no issues. I'm running a 3" spacer and it pushed my ball joints up after 3-4K miles. I went ahead and swapped my UCAs for mevotech

Difference between -24 and -44 offsets is 20MM negative in the difference. In other words, the hub mounts to the rim surface 20MM closer to the vehicl with a -44 offset then that rim of a -24 offset. This pushes the rim out 20MM further, or in other words the better part of an inch.

I've had both offsets in the past. -44 pushes the wheel out 3+ inches or more. Personaly i think -24 looks the best, especially on a stock height truck. My next set of rims will be -24 at stock height suspension
