Will a 2011 4.7 head fit and mount correctly to a 2002 4.7? I know harnesses and computers are different but idk on this please help!?
In my 2002 (customers) Ram 1500 the spark plugs seized inside after 170k with original plugs. Long story short threads broke clean off inside the head attempt to extract with tap but I’ve striped every socket that fit and it hasn’t moved an inch. Soaked in PB blaster for 2 days no luck. Wondering about the 2011 head?

No they will not fit the newer 4.7 engines use 16 spark plugs 2 per cylinder like the hemis older 4.7 heads are a dime a dozen or find a machine shop to fix the heads.

Just a thought:
Could you remove that 2002 4.7L head ?
Take it to Machine shop & have them extract the spark plug.

Don't get the head rebuilt, it would indirectly cause damage to Connecting Rods, Inserts, etc.

Tsk tsk. I was afraid of that. Saves me some time today trying to pull that 2011.
I will pull this head off and send it to a machine shop if I don’t have any luck after heads off! Thank y’all for the words of wisdom. If anyone else knows anything pertaining I encourage the comment!! Thank you this community has been great
