Will a 2018 bed fit on 2006

I have a 2006 2500 and came across a bed off a 2018 both are short beds will they fit or what would it tale?

I believe the front edge of the bed (near the cab) is different between 3g (vertical) and 4g (curved). So even if it did fit physically, would probably look weird
