Has anyone tinted their front window? If so what percent did you go with. If u can post it to see.

There are a few threads on here dedicated to this. I suggest you search for them to get a variety of percentages.

Window ting

Here's mine with 20% on the front and a 5% windshield strip. It's kind of a crappy pic to show how it matches to the rear but in the sun it looks pretty close.

I just did mine today! I did 25% on the front which with the film they used matched the back sides perfectly. I also added 25% to the back rear window and it pretty much blacked it out considering it was already rated at 32% (stock).

I had them rate the stock windows with the tint meter before they added any type of tint. Rear side windows on my 2014 ram rated at 21%. The back center window rated at 32%. I have no idea why they went lighter on the back window but I fixed that issue today

I had the front sides done 2 days ago. They didn't match the rear sides because that would make the front illegal. I got SunTech which although lighter, blocked UV rays/heat.

I had 18% put on my front side windows to match the rears.

Here is mine. 5% over the factory tint on the back windows and back glass. 15% on the front windows and 40% on the entire front windshield.

$80 for my front windows to be matched to the rear and has a life time warranty. Can't remember if the shop went 15% or 25% tint

139 for 2 front - Sunteh. 40 minutes install time.

140, with Suntek tint. for 2 front doors, 5% windshield strip, and 20% over the sunroof. It took 1.5-2 hours I can't really remember.

I've got 40% on mine and I like it. Cuts sun glare drastically and also makes it very difficult to see in at night if your truck sits outside. I do wish I would have went 5% on my front widows though.

I was thinking 40 or 35 for my front windshield but didn't know if it would be to dark. I have 5 on the back and 15 on my front windows now
