I will add this here also...

the 4th Gen 13-18/classic seats do not function independently from the BCM/control system in the truck. They require CANbus communication with a 2013-18/classic truck's electrical system (Seat Modules, BCM, & Center Stack Seat Switch buttons on LiNbus). You can't just add a switch and power/ground to get the heated/cooled features to work... There are temp sensors in the seats that also function as feedback to the seat modules)

The only thing you can do to make them move is to ...
Add +12v to yellow driver side connector at Pin 1
Add Gnd to yellow driver side connector at Pin 8

Add +12v to yellow passenger side connector at Pin 14
Add Gnd to yellow passengerr side connector at Pin 21

.
you can reference:
Tech authority schematic site changed names ...

I haven't used it since it changed.

Connector repair site is still free if you can find a set of schematics for your year to reference ...

.
Search keyword 'seat'... See attached 17 1500 DS seat connector info.

And then there's alldataDiy...
