Has anyone use the Z automotive bypass module and left it permanently installed?

I’ve used it a few times but remove and plug back in the Security Gateway after the changes are made. Kind of a pain and would rather leave it in for when I want to mess with Alfa OBD and not have to tear my truck apart first.

Its intended to be left plugged in if you want to use the "Live" functions like the Auto Mirror fold. They make OBD port splitters that allow you to plug in two things into the OBD port

Thanks! That’s good to know. I’m going to leave it plugged in next time I get in there. I’m assuming the SGW can be removed completely at that point since nothing is plugged into it?
