Took my truck to the dealer Monday. They fixed one of two recalls, the one involving the DT Ground Cable was fixed. The other involves the DT Adjustable Break Pedal could not be fixed yet, they don't have the parts. While I was there, I asked them again to find a fix for the stereo, and they have nothing. So I remain stuck with this situation. View attachment 156279
My truck went to this yesterday, after 8 months of ownership. Had a problem once before that the radio would go to channel 1 on XM every time the truck was started. I took it back to the dealer and after 3 hours, they had found a 'fix' for it and it has been fine until yesterday. Now every time the truck is shut off, it deletes all the presets..GGRRRR. Gonna make an appointment to have it fixed, if they can. If not, they are gonna have a very unhappy customer.

The dealership never fixed the issue for me. I submitted a complaint through the RAM website customer service and some how magically the problem was fixed! So in my guess, RAM has a way to solve this via over the air update to the stereo. I may be wrong, but this wasn't a coincidence. The dealership had NO solution, and it wasn't until I raised the issue through RAM customer service that it somehow magically was fixed.

I'm in the same boat and I take mine in next Monday for the reset issue. Is there any documentation code or repair info that you have that can save me some time?

I've got an appointment on Thursday, so I guess I'll find out if they can fix the issue. Like I said before, if they don't, they are going to have a very upset and loud customer....

I have a 2019 Dodge Ram limited with 12000 miles on it my radio just did the same last week. I live in oak creek wi and it’s been to the dealer since last week Wednesday it’s now a week later and the told me it’s the memory seat modules that is causing the radio not to hold pre sets, said they order a new one but won’t be in for 3 days, will keep you updated if it works ,

I don’t know what code they used on work order , I just got off the phone with them said it would be 3 days to get the part, resetting the radio didn’t fix mine the service manager says the seat memory modules is what causing the problem, they have had my truck for over a week, I have leather issues with the seats wearing , and radio, don’t know when I will get it back

Took my truck in last Friday and they 'reset' the radio. It held the presets from the time I left the dealership until I got home. Had a few errands to run in town, went out got in the truck, and wouldn't ya know it..no presets. 3 hours time, a hundred miles and was a waste of time. we've been out of town from Monday until this evening, so they are going to get a call tomorrow to see if they want me to bring it back to be fixed or to get my money back. 68k truck shouldn't have this kind of BS going on. To say the least, I'm not happy.!

2019 Limited with 3000 miles and the radio presets are clearing. WTH? I am reading that the memory seats are the cause. Really?

My preset Robles returned yesterday. I’ve only had the truck 9 months. 4b63554360aaed95e4ce90fc4b3ae2d9.jpg

Mine is still in the shop I have a 2019 Dodge Ram 1500 limited and it’s been back at the dealers for all kids of problems, first the leather seats were showing wear so the have replaces the seat covers 3 times now it’s better leather but the driver side is wrinkled and now the clip won’t hold, I lost all my pre sets on radio and the said it was a bad seat set module, my running boards go in and out when your driving, the air ride doesn’t go up to driving mode some times , last week the passenger running board wouldn’t come out when my wife tried to get in the truck, the driver side door rattles, so far since I have had it in 8 months it’s been in the shop for at least 18 days, in fact it’s been in the shop since Wednesday 17 of July and I still don’t know when I will get it back, they said they might try to have it bought back on the lemon law but don’t hold much faith on that, I love my truck I just want it to be the truck they said made truck of the year, also has anyone have this problem. When I shut off my truck the power is off so you can’t put the windows up or listen to the radio, all my other cars and trucks you could listen to radio and put up the windows for awhile after you shut them off, any help will be very appreciated thanks

Took the truck back last Friday, and I think we've got it figured out. When you set up your memory for the radio, make sure that you set the button on the door. The tech told me that for some reason, CFA used the seat memory to set the presets on the radio as well. He said he didn't understand it either, but that's what they did. So, set your seat, mirrors, and your radio presets, then push the memory button on the door along with the 'S' button. Hold it until the DIC says that it is 'SET', not just until it show Memory 1 (or 2). It should now hold your radio presets, as well as seat and mirrors. You can also use the other fob, go thru the same process, and press 2 and 'S' and set the second fob for the wife/girlfriend if they set the seat different than you and listen to different music.

Was at dealer for this issue. Went through the memory set thing. Worked a little while and went back to old ways. Service manager called Chrysler tech people and after a couple of hours was told it is known problem, they are working on it and had no timeline for resolution.
I went through escalation customer service myself and after a few days was basically told the same thing. Working on it. Maybe 4th quarter.
??????
What a piece of crap. Spend $70k and freaking radio doesn’t work right. Besides presets, randomly goes back to Station 1, stops altogether (go to fm and back and everything works again. Not presets. Those are toast)
No help from dealer or from Chrysler customer service.
Other random issues too. Air ride gets stuck in exit sometimes, air stays on high (shut off vehicle and back on to fix)

Ugh !!!!

After months of bugs and performance issues my dealer realized the system needed to have a "User or Listener" programmed into the software. This is easily accomplished and gets tied to the memory buttons (1 & 2) on the driver's door. Once this was set the system has been performing well and I have not lost the presets. I have 15K miles on my 2019 Laramie Longhorn and it is working well but there are still a few bugs. My dealer tells me there will be a major update to the 12" uConnect system late 3rd quarter 2019 which means by the end of September. Not holding my breath for this since FCA is so slow at responding.

After 4 trips to the dealer, I finally called CFA customer service. Once again I was told "they are working on a fix". No timeline available as of now. I was told the third quarter at the dealer, but told by CFA that they don't know when. Like most of the rest of you folks, after spending nearly 70k for a truck that is supposed to be the best in the business, CFA has fallen flat on their faces on this 12" screen center stack. I was basically told, they will get to getting a fix, if and when they want to. Same as being told 'you bought the truck, spent your money and now we don't give a s**t.. I've been with Ram for years, but I'm seeing a different company in my very near future. As much as I like Ram trucks, I'm not going to keep getting screwed over by this company.. Rant Over..
