These are public roads that go through private ranches (Ranch Roads).

So do you have to get permission? Or as long as you to stay on the public road your are ok?

I'm just getting into offroading/overlanding. So I dont want to **** anyone off. Especially in Texas! Lol

We do not need permission, they are public roads - used by a lot of groups for Overlanding. As long as we stay on the main roads we are OK.

I’d be in if it weren’t 240 miles away.

It's multiple roads. Another member of my group is planning the route. I just know we're meeting at the restaurant in Johnson City, then we'll all roll together from there.

Meet location: Hill Country Cupboard
101 us hwy 281 S, Johnson City, TX 78636
Meet: 9:00 AM
Roll-out 9:15 AM

This event is still on. There is a foretasted 1-2" of rain throughout the area, but our trucks aren't afraid to get wet. With that said, we have a legit weatherman in our group who is monitoring weather and will advise us should anything major change. And, we have a swift water technician who will make sure we don't take any unneeded risks along the trails.

I will try to update here as often as I can. Otherwise, check out Texas Ram Club San Antonio and Texas Ram Club Central Texas on Facebook and Instagram. I am the President of the CTX Chapter,I definitely post the events to our FB page and (try) to post them all to our Instagram.

We ended up with 24 trucks. Honestly, I didn't check the miles, but it was about 2.5 hours off paved roads. 150 minutes at 20 MPH-ish average would be about 50 miles maybe. There were 30/35 MPH areas, but then there were crawling areas, so I'm guessing we averaged 20 MPH.
