Some of you might have seen my recent post of my first ever brand new warlock. Well.... owned it two weeks and wife put some paint cans in the box. One tipped over and leaked interior blue paint all over. I sprayed it off right away but it seems to have seeped into all the grit of the bed liner. I think it was latex paint, but I’m not really sure.

I know it’s a truck, and isn’t that bad. BUT it’s my first new truck and 2 weeks old lol.....

I have tried:
Pressure washing
Drill brush with soap and water
Paint thinner sprayed on with a bottle and scrubbed with a brush.

I am reluctant to ruin my bed liner with chemicals.

Spray in or drop in?

Those spray-ins are pretty tough, i would maybe try what chemicals you want to use in a small corner and see if it dissolves the liner. If is super fu*ked, just file a comp claim with insurance. Something in the same realm happened to me with my '13 Ram. My mom spilt a Gallon of fruit punch on the rear seats and forgot to tell me. about a month after buying it.

It’s a spray in. I don’t think insurance would help, my fault and my deductible is probably more than getting the liner sprayed at line-x. Then again, maybe not.

Comp usually covers everything (in broad terms) I dropped a cinderblock on my Dart and file a comp claim and got a new hood. Im in California where they cant raise your rates for using them. Only for getting "points" on record. My deduct was 100, so wasnt a biggie.

Can you post some pics? Few options i see and im little in-experienced in this realm. But either gamble with a solvent, spray paint black paint over the paint, and/or file comp claim depending on your insurance. Also if you **** up your bedliner using chemicals, a bedliner place may beable to blend in new liner. The local LineX where i live charges starting at $100 for patches in bedliner.

I posted a link in my original post with some pics. It won’t let me upload to the forum for some reason.

I messaged my local line x and the owner said he can’t spray over factory liner. I’ll keep trying with solvents [emoji2371]

No ****....I too had a bright blue interior wall paint spilled on my spray in bed liner. My fix was to not worry about it and put down a rubber bed mat.

Haven’t seen the spot in forever and it makes no difference plus my stuff slides a lot less back there now.

Cheap and easy as well as functional...with the added grip and padding in the bed now.

My bed liner didn't come with pre holes for cleats so I measured wrong and over cut...661ff1c8e15fa7fa24019b72ad404517.jpg2fa84573b3b917d7a3ca75a8c0314b85.jpg

Actually they sell a black paint that has the texture of the Bedliner. Think it’s made by Rustoleum. You don’t need to do the whole bed. Just a light coat or two and feather it around the edges. I’m sure it would look great.

OH MY GOD!! A truck got used as a truck. That is insane.
If the paint was on the outside I might worry about it but it's inside the bed so BFD.

Thanks for all the helpful responses. I think I am just going to get a truck bed mat. They look pretty nice.

I might still go see my line-x dealer. He offered to take a look and see what he could do.

So if the paint was on your backseat you would be OK with that because it was not on the outside somewhere?

If it's bothering you that much, just get a rattle can of Rustoleum (there's another brand or two as well) truck bed liner and spray over it. The can is inexpensive and it's actually tough stuff if you let it dry properly. I use it in the bed of my Gator.

I wonder if duplo vinyl paint might stick better. I do love the black rustoleum to touch up my step bar rust spots, though.

Mopar Makes a spray in bed liner cleaner\conditioner. I recently used this on a bed from 2014, it had some paint stains in it . Sprayed it on and hit it with a stiff brush...It looked brand new when done

Part number 82212338. Cheapest price was from my dealer $25...worth a try at that price...I’d try this before you start trying to paint it
