    My 2015 6.4 Hemi Ram 2500 has a payload capacity of 3130 & towing capacity of 12,850. No issues towing our Montana High Country 295RL with a empty pin weight of 2300 & trailer weight of 11,300.

    Rear Axle Pinion snapped while driving

    I agree Thats a broken pinion gear . I would call the mechanic that said he put 4.2 pints of oil in the rear end ? I would also check the front differential, Just sounds suspect to me that it happened after you had it serviced . Wow.

    My 2015 6.4 Hemi Ram 2500 has a payload of 3130 & 12,850 towing capacity with 373 gears . Just recently traded our 31ft 8k loaded TT for a 2021 Montana High Country 295RL. Empty pin weigh 2300 Empty 5th wheel 11,300 . Loaded I'm at 3000lb pin weight & 12,000 on 5th wheel . Tows it like a dream...

    Have a 2015 2500 Hemi Ram rated to tow 12,850 with a payload of 3130 with the 6.5 bed. No issues towing our 2021 295RL Montana High Country 5th wheel. 34 ft . 11,300 empty weight & 2300 lb pin weight. Average 8.5 to 10.5 hand calculated mpg depending on headwinds. Truck has 373 gears.

    Did Redline Oil work against your Hemi Tick?

    Had a 2012 5.7 2500 Hemi & it had the Hemi tick @ startup. Traded it for a 2015 6.4 2500 Hemi Ram & it doesn't have the tick? Truck has 39,000 miles & have only been serviced by Ram dealer. So far no issues with using Mopar oil & oil filters.

    Since i have a collection of 18 volt Rigid tools i purchased a Rigid 1/2 " drive impact . Great for removing lug nuts . 149.00 @ home depot during the black friday sale.

    Nope . It actually parked in the RV carport my 28RLS was parked in. Carport is 31 'x18' . Adding 10 ft. To accommodate the 34 ft 5th wheel. Due to material/ labor shortages 12 weeks out on install. Hope to have it done end of July.

    Same on our 2015 6.4 Hemi Ram 4x4. Had airbags installed just in case. 10lbs on way to dealer & was amazed how little the truck squatted with 2300 lbs. On it . Was a little squishy on the tow back home (117) miles through the Texas Hill country. Gonna try to run the pressure on the bags to 30...

    Was towing a 31ft TT with a loaded weight of 8K with zero issues & upgraded to a 11,300 lb with a 2300 lb pin weight . 373 gears . The Hemi let me know it was back there but towed it fine . 9.5 Hand calculated mpg towing the 5th wheel back 117 miles to the house in the Texas Hill country
