Was it on the lot? Was one of those similarly specced vehicles due to arrive at the lot sometime soon? If no, then guess what... Generic email saying you have a vehicle coming. My 12v cummins build
Great thread. Tons of progress. I had a 93 W250 with the CTD and an 01(i think) Power Ram 2500 with the same. This is making me miss my 93. As trucks changed to the more modern look, I got so many compliments on that nice square body Dodge.- abnfdc

Underseat Storage - give me your opinion
I put a Du-Ha in today. No complaints. While I'll miss the floor space, this quad cab still has more backseat space than my access cab Tacoma had. I needed storage as I never leave home without some tools, a means to jump start, a 12V compressor, a plug kit, some basic emergency stuff, etc... -
What did you do with your 5th Gen this week?
Not that mmcbeat needs the backup, I concur with the above--in my experience with them, the mats won't move. To the truck today: Line-X treatment for the bed. In and out the door in 2 1/2 hours-impressive. Tomorrow after the Line-X finishes the cure, I'll put the Husky bed mat down. Stuff...- abnfdc

What rim for Regular 2020 1500 Spare Tire?
The current spare rim will work, but you'll have to adjust the tire size if your rims are different. Example my spare rim is 18" and my regulars are 20". Use a tire size calculator to get a similar diameter tire in the different rim size. I found a 20" take off on ebay and will put a normal... -

New Truck Bed Accessories
I'm getting my truck Line-Xed Monday for $599. I had my 01 Rhino Lined as that was the closest dealer. I have no concerns with either brand. TBH it seems like a lame thing to be pissed about, but the donut is low rent as ****. We're talking lower rent than homeless folks low rent. It's absurd in a full size truck and if this is the manufacturer's attitude towards the buyers I almost regret going back to "Dodge" after my 13 year...- abnfdc

The only size I care about on a spare is whether it will fit on the hub and has the same bolt pattern. This does. I'm not into 5 wheel tire rotations. I do notice it's an 18" rim, so I'll just need to find a similar size 18" tire.- abnfdc

There is a lot I like. One thing that is disappointing is the lack of a spare tire. That stupid donut doesn't count. Especially if I need it when towing something. Dumb question about tires
Funny thing is I stopped by the Line-X place today and they are in a nationwide shortage of spray stuff for beds. I only did that when I lived in AK and they didn't use salt. Here in NH, they salt the heck out of everything so the roads get cleaned off pretty quickly-ran Wildpeaks all last... -
Dumb question about tires
Same-prior to this the largest set of rims I had were 16.5 on 3/4 Dodges. That said, if I bump an inch to 275/60/20 or 2 inches to 275/65/20(if they fit) and go with D or E rated tires, they'll work fine for general use and light offroad stuff. I outgrew the throwing money at rims years ago... -
