    2018 ram 1500 49k miles. Full inspection from Dealership, they said I had bearing noise. 4k for repair. I had a shop pull the cover. They said everything looked great , no scored metal, very little metal flake in The oil. The gear oil looked fresh. No bearing noise at all. Thanks to everyone...

    I just bought the truck,I wanted to know everything wrong with it. That's why I took it to the dealership. The 2 local mechanics have been in business for over 20 years here in my town.

    I brought my ram 1500 49k miles to the dealership for 200 point inspection. The only thing they said was I had bearing noise in the rear differential. $4000. I took the truck to 2 other mechanics and they both said nothing was wrong with the differential. Should I just let it go,or should I...

    Bearing noise in rear differential

    I have had the truck about 2 weeks. I took it in for 200 point inspection and oil change. No leaks around the differential, drives smooth. I've driven around trying to hear any noise from the rear end, nothing I can tell.

    2018 ram 1500 2wd. Just took it to dodge dealership, they said I have bearing noise in the rear differential. They said it'd be around $4,000 , they didn't take it a part to even look at the gears or bearings. I don't hear anything while driving . No problems accelerating or driving at all...
