    OEM Battery Life

    I work at a dealer and Mopar just changed manufacturer of batteries. We have around 600 units. I average about 10 to 15 batteries a month replacing dead units. So far I have not had to replace the new vendor's.

    I work for Dodge as a tech in the used car department. I have tried about every make and model of aftermarket short antenna. What I found that works the best (FM reception) and is still short without wind noise is the factory antenna off the Ram Promaster Van. It is about 17 inches tall.

    Reverse lights on a toggle?

    I mounted a set of spot lights on a pair of angle iron brackets on the receiver hitch under the truck and wired them with a relay to my rear bed lights. After I lock it or un lock the truck they come on with the remote. I spliced into the wire for the rear light at the base of the drivers door...

    FYI... The shift knob shouldn't turn while in motion. Other than from drive to neutral. I have tried it.

    13mm caliper bolts and 22 mm for the mounting bracket. Same size as the lug nut socket.

    Windows Up/Down on Entry/Exit

    To relear the window module roll the window down and hold the switch down for 5 seconds and roll it up and hold the switch in the up position for 5 seconds after its closed. That is the procedure from FCA.

    Recall Work

    The tailgate recall pays the tech 12 minutes and 18 minutes with the reprogram the pcm for the shifter recall. If the panel on the tailgate has spray in bed liner covering the torks tip screws it may take that long. A wise tech will do them at the same time. Providing the department isnt busy...
