Coolant temp sensor
Okay. I found out the ts 124 is a temp switch, although it is called a sensor. When it gets too hot, it goes from full off to full on. This would be good for a warning light, but not a gauge. I called standard and they did a bit of research and told me what I need is a ts 186. The ts 186...- Datacom1

Coolant temp sensor
Okay. I have a dodge d250 with a 5.2l engine. The coolant temperature sensor for the gauge (1 wire behind the alternator) stopped working. I can ground the gauge wire and the gauge will show max hot. I replaced the sensor with a standard ts124. Gauge still didn't work. Replaced again...- Datacom1
